The world of coffee is much more than just making a cup. Before coffee ends up in your cup, it has travelled a long way: from planting and harvesting to processing, trading, roasting and preparation. Do you work with coffee? Then it is valuable to know more about the origin and process behind your product.

The Introduction to Coffee training course is the ultimate introduction to coffee and its production. Whether you want to learn how to roast, prepare or sell coffee, this training course will help you discover which direction suits you best.

The training is also part of our SCA Coffee Skills Programme and is included in the Coffee Training Programand Barista Training Level 1 courses.

📝 Exam fee: €25 charged by the SCA

Addional information

Language: English or Dutch When an English speaking participant registers for the training, it will be switched to English. If you object to this and you really only want to follow the training in Dutch, please contact us first: info@koffieschool.nl or 030-6336538. It is no longer possible to object after booking.

Exam: The written exam is taken online. Are you dyslexic or do you have another demonstrable reason why this is not possible for you, please indicate this when registering. We must request an exemption so that you can take the exam on paper or orally and with more time.

Retakes: You have 2 attempts for the online written exam. If you fail both attempts, and you still want to obtain the certificate, you must register again for the relevant training.

 

Belgian participants who fall under ‘paritair committee 118/220’ can appeal to Alimento for an allowance for this training
