SCA Green coffee Intermediate

Are you a coffee roaster or do you want to become one? Would you like to buy your own coffee beans? In that case it is really good to have profound knowlegde about the coffee trading business. And also about the coffee producing process. What does the coffee trade market look like? How is the coffee price determined Which beans are sold for which price? And which beans should you not buy.

In the SCA Green Coffee intermediate training we dive deeper into the subject of Green Coffee Production and Trade. The following topics will be covered:
Agriculture:
– We will discuss the different coffee varieties, where they come from, how are they grown and under what conditions do they grow.
– What different ways of processing are known, where are they applied and how does that affect green coffee.
– Determining quality and price.
– Transporting the coffee.
– Setting up a Green/ Cupping Lab
