Would you like to master the art of making coffee and work as a real barista? During the 5-day fast track course, you will not only learn how to prepare a perfect espresso or cappuccino, but also how to serve all the coffee drinks on the menu in a professional and hospitable manner. And of course we pay attention to the visual aspect – with Latte Art we teach you how to pour the most beautiful figures into milk drinks.

There are no entry requirements, but we recommend gaining practical experience during the course. We are happy to help you through our extensive network!

Addional information

Practice: If you are not working as a barista or if you own an espresso machine, it is possible to come and practice without supervision. You make an appointment of at least 2 hours for this. For practice we charge €25 for the use of equipment, coffee and accessories.

Language: English or Dutch When an English speaking participant registers for the training, it will be switched to English. If you object to this and you really only want to follow the training in Dutch, please contact us first: info@koffieschool.nl or 030-6336538. It is no longer possible to object after booking.

Exam: The written exam is taken online. Are you dyslexic or do you have another demonstrable reason why this is not possible for you, please indicate this when registering. We must request an exemption so that you can take the exam on paper or orally and with more time.

Resit: For the foundation level applies:

You have 2 attempts for the online written exam. If you fail both attempts, and you still want to obtain the certificate, you must register again for the relevant training.

When you have attended all days you will receive the SVH recognized Coffee School Diploma. The Barista training Level 1 is an SVH recognized industry training.
