SCA Green coffee professional

voor koffiebranders die zelf koffie in willen gaan kopen

If you, as a coffee roaster, decide to purchase your coffee directly, it is important to be well prepared. There is a lot involved in the process of bringing your desired coffee to this side of the ocean.

  • Which coffee do you select? Which variety and origin?
  • Which processing methods do you choose and how does this affect the quality?
  • How do you recognise a defect in appearance and taste?
  • How do you determine the price and what are the costs involved?
  • How do you ensure that quality is guaranteed during the period of storage and transport?
  • How is the contract drawn up?

In addition to learning a great deal about the trade, this training course also covers assessing the taste and defects of coffees.
