☕ Roasting your own coffee is extremely popular, but there’s a lot involved! You can have the best roasting equipment, but that doesn’t make you a good coffee roaster. Which green coffee beans should you choose, and how do you know if your roasting results are top quality?
The Coffee Roasting Course Level 1 fully prepares you for the profession of coffee roaster, so you can get started with confidence. Do you have no experience yet and want to become a coffee roaster? Then this training course is perfect for you!
After the training, the participant will have basic knowledge and skills in the areas of:
✅ Origin and processing of coffee
✅ Different varieties of coffee
✅ Assessment of green coffee
✅ Trade and sustainability in the coffee world
✅ Flavour recognition and assessment (cupping)
✅ The complete roasting process

Coffee Roaster Program Level 1
Language: The training courses are given in Dutch or English. When an English speaking participant registers for the training, it will be switched to English. If you object to this and you really only want to follow the training in Dutch, please contact us first: info@koffieschool.nl or 030-6336538. It is no longer possible to object after booking.
Exam: The written exam is taken online. Are you dyslexic or do you have another demonstrable reason why this is not possible for you, please indicate this when registering. We must request an exemption so that you can take the exam on paper or orally and with more time.
Resit: For the foundation level applies:
You have 2 attempts for the online written exam. If you fail both attempts, and you still want to obtain the certificate, you must register again for the relevant training.

Belgian participants who fall under joint committee 118/220 can appeal to Alimento for an allowance for this training
